Job Title: Machinist
Summary: A skilled machinist with 5 to 7 years experience that can effectively set-up customer high precision components on CNC equipment, preferably on lathes
Qualifications:
◾ High School Diploma or GED
◾ Strong blue print reading required
◾ Preferable experience in aerospace manufacturing environment
◾ Basic programming & computer knowledge
◾ Must have a good understanding of CNC’s
◾ Must be able to run two or more CNC Lathes simultaneously.
◾ Must have strong math skills
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
◾ Perform quick setups for manufactured products according to well defined criteria
◾ May be doing multiple setups on the same day.
◾ Will perform 1st Piece Inspection Reports for manufactured products.
◾ Carefully monitor CNC’s & perform In-Process inspections.
◾ Maintain controlled documents/Travelers and test records in a timely and accurate manner.
Job Title: QC Inspector
Summary: Perform inspections, calibrations, tests, and sampling procedures of high precision manufactured aerospace components. Respond to NCR’s and perform FAIR’s for release of finished goods.
Qualifications:
◾ High School Diploma or GED
◾ Strong blue print reading required
◾ Preferable experience in aerospace manufacturing environment
◾ Basic computer knowledge
◾ Must have a good mechanical aptitude
◾ Must be able to follow directions clearly
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
◾ Perform inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies or manufactured products according to well defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and/ or electrical measurements.
◾ In Process inspections.
◾ Rework or reject finished products as required.
◾ Accurate documentation of results of inspections and testing.
◾ Perform AS9102 FAIR’s for customers as required.
◾ Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.
◾ Coordinate calibration of all test equipment and fixtures
◾ Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibration.
◾ Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action to supervisor.
◾ Work with production management and Quality Assurance to provide feedback to machinists regarding accuracy of finished products
◾ Perform review of documentation for compliance to established procedures and Good Documentation Practices.
